Introducing Telford Chiropractor  Dr. Simon Pierce, Director

Telford Chiropractor Dr. Simon Pierce

It all started when I injured my own back on the family farm in 1980 – I just couldn’t move at all, and so my family loaded me across the back seat of a car and took me to see Chiropractor Brian Gwilliam.

I began a course of treatment and very quickly, I was back on my feet. Over several months, my spine was completely rehabilitated.

I just couldn’t believe the difference Chiropractic treatment had made, and I was desperate to find out more. But it was another ten years before I could take my interest further, and I began studying at the Anglo European College of Chiropractic.

After four years of hard work, covering all kinds of subjects including anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, biomechanics, and chiropractic, I graduated in 1996, and joined the team at The Chiropractic Clinic, in Telford.

I am now Co-Director of The Centre for Positive Health Limited, with Dr. Tom Gwilliam, and I am particularly interested in helping patients with whiplash injuries, and dealing with ski ergonomics, dry needling treatment, and the Sacro Occipital Technique.

In my own time, I enjoy walking in Snowdonia, skiing, and running to try to keep fit. I live just outside Shrewsbury with my wife Maggie, our two children, Beth and Toby, and Mac the family dog.
